Fund raiser – Friday 16th September, 2011
Thank you so much to Paul, Bryony and Venetia from The Wedge Trust for a wonderful fundraiser! I can’t quite believe what a fantastic evening they put on. Bryony and Venetia arranged a Clothes Sale – and what a fantastic job they did! Along with support from a local business, enormous help was received from loads of people, but primarily neighbour and friend Sally who not only donated all the wonderful couture clothing, but worked tirelessly for a whole evening and ½ day Friday to help set up; Helen who also stayed up with Bryony until 1am sizing clothes and then took a day off work on Friday to set up; Dinah who helped all day and ran the men’s room and Nicola (who runs a vintage clothes in Farnham) and donated all the dummies and rails for upstairs and helped set up on Friday – it really was great team work.
A huge thank you to everyone who donated clothes and came on the evening and for the support and interest in Play Kenya. We have promises of football boots for our football project and monthly donations to come
Play Kenya are so excited to be joined by The Wedge Trust – great people and great support – Thank you so much
